    The hotel was an easy base for enjoying a good area, so close to a Chinese takeaway restaurant. Comforts of twin room were fabulous - central heating, flat-screen TV, and a dining area. Kitchen was a plus. The location was quiet - an easy walk to everywhere we wanted to go. Again, the property was 10 minutes by car from All Saints Church Fawley...

    The shared bathroom left a lot to be desired. It had not been cleaned properly and showed signs of previous guests' lack of tidiness. The decor throughout was fairly drab with an overbearing grey palette, limiting natural light thanks to a wall outside the window. Breakfast could use a serious revamp. It was just basic cereals and spreads, lacking any fresh items or a hot meal option. The sink in the bathroom had unappealing black splatters, and there was definitely evidence that cleaning had been overlooked.
